Traditionally, the main hurdle in using anaerobic digesting systems is the long retention time (18 to 21 days) for conversion of waste streams to biogas.
The new SGBR process has significantly reduced the biogas production retention time to 24 hours, which reduces reactor waste storage volume. This new process has tremendous potential to treat many of the organic waste streams generated today. Read more…
